Website 5 - Illustration

http://www.illustrationweb.com/artists

Illustration is similar to Pinterest in that it functions the same but illustration is focused around one core subject alone which is art, it also has many different artist you can follow. I can use this to most likely find some more artist research and ideas for my up and coming project.

Website 4 - Pinterest

https://uk.pinterest.com

Pinterest is a site which focuses on the general interests of people, you are able to select a category your interested in and images relevant to your selected choice will appear. The reason for using this as a website source is because I find the images that appear when searching the subject of art to be very visual and strong in its representation of what arts all about most images communicate using visuals, colours and lines. I mainly want to use this site because I find it reliable for good idea generation based on the images it provides are varied and you have a choice based on what your looking for.

Image 2 - Jamie Hewlett

Image 1 - Xmau

This is art by an illustrator I follow called Xmau. He focuses on creating Korean orientated images which use similar colour themes and follow one consistent pattern, which I my self think is very creative a and amazing in appearance because it gives a for of identity. What I like most is that the colours communicate the same feeling because none of the colours change in any of the piece he does, it reminds me of  Jamie Hewlett's work because it is very expressive and presents unusual, unseen and crazing looking characters. This will prove to be very use full for my art work be cause it will provide me with ideas for my own characters maybe even a particular theme to follow.

Website 3 - (lilfuchs) Adam Fuchs

http://lilfuchs.com

Adam Fuchs is both and animator and illustrator who focuses on developing images which communicate through colours, Images and wacky patterns his site is very expressive and has varied work which all communicates differently. This is another visual artist website I will be looking a as reference for my work because it emphasis what I am talking in terms of communication on the work involves nothing but images to help convey a message, looking at this well help me dig deeper in to my understanding of art and its communicative values and how artist try to convey a message through little things like e.g. colour, patterns. I can use this to possibly inspire my final piece and want to make sure my piece reflects what I am talking about so I will use the website as guidance.

Website 2 - Olly Moss

http://ollymoss.com/

This site is developed my an artist called Olly Moss, everything on here is based on his own work, and like Robi Dobi he too is a visual artist who works on producing posters but for a different subject like films and their characters. The reason for using this website would be because his work focuses on the the matter on my question in which it focuses on the the visuals and the out come of an art piece by its visuals on concentrates least on it typed information, he has many different examples in which communicate differently and use the main factors I want to talk about for my up and coming project like e.g. colour, image, style to communicate a message and to give of a feeling. I will examine his work to help my project progress so I can develop an understanding and maybe could help me generate some theoretical ideas on what really makes art pieces communicate which could help with my research because at this moment I haven't got an idea as to what research I might gather.

Website 1 - Rob Dobi

http://www.robdobi.com

Rob Dobi is a poster artist who focuses on Graphic illustration, the website above is has his own personal work displayed. This website has no relation to animation but it works well with my idea of communication because Rob Dobi focuses on creating images which communicate through both colour, images and also his composition. My goal when looking for relevant websites to my theme is to find artwork that visually communicates by making me thinking and try to understand both the artist and His or Her work through depiction and hidden messages, Rob Dobi's website has me both thinking and trying to understanding his work but also presents the elements I have previously been talking about in that he uses small thing like e.g. colours and composition to help convey a message. This website presents me with so many pieces of work to evaluate and look at because there is variation and it demonstrates how pictures can communicate differently which is a key point in which I would like to highlight in my experiment. I really like the website for its variation and composition because everything is different and communicates with me different based on my perception and how Rob Dobi wants to communicate.

This source would be very useful for my up and coming project because it presents me with various images to examine but also might compare well with the ideas I might have for my own final piece, it gives me the chance to think about the type of idea I could come up with based on its variation, when I look at this site, I feel spoilt for choice because I think their are so many good concepts on this site I could used to inspire my idea from the basis of the e.g. Images, display, concept, colours, Composition. Maybe I can apply some colour and illustration to my work when I can start working on my idea because I notice that this site focuses on poster illustrations which use a lot of colours to communicate which is what I plan to use for my ideas, I still researching and thinking about my concept carefully before jumping a head because I want my messages to be clear when people look at at my final piece e.g. have I used a shade of red that maybe considered aggressive based on its brightness and shade.
